General Service Technician

Job Summary
Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks, provide tire installation, repair, and rotation, and inspect engine fluids. Perform thorough vehicle inspections covering belts, hoses, and brakes, then move customer vehicles into and out of service bays. Lubricate frontend parts as needed while maintaining clean, organized work areas and positive relationships with co-workers and management. Act professionally to represent the organization, projecting trust, honesty, and respect in every customer interaction. This role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work Saturdays, and the ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays
- Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- Ability to exert 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly
- Ability to work at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
Desired Qualifications
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
