Job Summary
General Service Technician responsible for oil changes, tire care, and vehicle inspections in automotive service bays. Duties include changing oil and filters, tire installation/repair/rotation, inspecting and topping off engine fluids, lubricating frontend parts, conducting thorough vehicle inspections per a checklist, moving vehicles in and out of bays, maintaining positive customer relationships, and keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, mechanical inclination, valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background screen, and strong customer service and teamwork skills. Must be able to work Saturdays and perform physically demanding tasks in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- One year or more years of experience in basic car care helpful but not necessary
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service
- Willingness to work Saturdays
