Job Summary
Conduct routine building maintenance, inspections, and site patrols to ensure operational safety and cleanliness across corporate and retail facilities. Address tenant issues promptly, including roof leaks and building envelope concerns, while escorting contractors and managing repairs. Maintain front lots, empty trash receptacles daily, and oversee parking areas and common corridors. Document damage and liabilities, report new maintenance issues, and respond to emergencies as directed. Complete all tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic skills such as Internet searches, use of email systems, electronic manuals, electronic learning, etc
- Universal CFC Certification
- Technical degree in HVAC or a minimum of two years hand on experience in the HVAC trade industry
- Must be able to work varying shifts, weekend and holidays as needed
- Must be able to respond to emergencies when needed
- Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools and be able to off of ladders, staging, and power platforms
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools and be able to off of ladders, staging, and power platforms
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry general maintenance regulations preferred
