Job Summary
As a General Service Technician at Jiffy Lube, you will begin in an entry-level role focused on professionally servicing guests' vehicles and delivering top-notch quality work and guest experience. You will participate in a training program that leads to certification across the services offered, while promoting teamwork, clear communication, and accurate guest care during operating hours. You will help keep the service center clean and presentable, mentor junior technicians when applicable, and perform routine vehicle inspections, oil changes (drain plugs/filters), tire pressure checks, fluid level inspections, and other manual tasks as needed. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work in varying temperatures and loud environments, and adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
