Job Summary
General Service Technician responsible for professionally servicing guests' vehicles and delivering a top-notch guest experience. You’ll begin in an entry-level role with a structured training program that leads to certification, and you’ll contribute to a collaborative service center environment by providing accurate vehicle care, clear communication, and mentoring to junior technicians. Key duties include performing oil changes and routine inspections, checking oil levels, tire pressure, fluid levels, documenting work on repair orders, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to all safety policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and operational procedures, with opportunities for career advancement within the Team Car Care network.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (e.g. retail, food service, hospitality)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
