Job Summary
Service guests' vehicles by checking oil levels, inspecting fluid levels, and installing new oil drain plugs and filters. Clean and lubricate fittings as needed, ensure proper tire inflation, and document all work performed on the repair order. Report safety issues immediately to management and provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians. Maintain a clean service center, promote teamwork, and adhere strictly to company policies on vehicle care and operation. Perform various manual tasks including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods. Must have at least three months of customer-facing experience, be 18 years or older, and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
- Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
- Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
