Job Summary
General Service Technician position in a customer-facing automotive service environment. Responsibilities include servicing guests' vehicles, performing oil changes, tire pressure checks, fluid inspections, and under-hood tasks (oil drain plug, oil filter), documenting work on repair orders, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and mentoring junior technicians as needed. Entry-level role with company training leading to certification; requires strong work ethic, teamwork, clear communication, and ability to work in varying conditions. Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.; willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends; prior customer-facing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
