Job Summary
General Service Technician at Jiffy Lube in Lenexa, KS. Begin in an entry-level role servicing guests' vehicles, with a training program that leads to certification. Responsibilities include promoting teamwork to deliver timely, accurate guest care; providing clear communication about guest vehicles; keeping the service center clean and presentable; mentoring junior and mid-level technicians; performing tasks such as checking oil level, tire pressure, inspecting/refilling fluids, installing oil drain plug and oil filter, and documenting all work on the repair order. Comply with safety protocols and company policies; be able to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
