Job Summary
As a General Service Technician in our shop, you will begin in an entry‐level role focused on professionally servicing guests' vehicles and delivering a high‐quality guest experience. Through our training program you’ll gain certification and expertise across the services we offer, helping you grow within the Team Car Care organization. You will promote teamwork, communicate clearly about guest vehicles, keep the service center clean and organized, mentor junior teammates as needed, and perform daily vehicle service tasks such as checking oil levels, ensuring proper tire pressure, inspecting and refilling fluids, installing an oil drain plug and oil filter, and documenting all work performed. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and a positive, dependable, team‐oriented attitude with opportunities for advancement and rewards. This position is full-time and located in Franklin Park, IL, with benefits including 401(k) with company match, bonus incentives, paid uniforms, and employee perks.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
