Job Summary
The General Service Technician performs service and installation activities related to Big O automotive maintenance and tire services. Responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairing tires, performing oil changes, checking and filling fluids, and conducting safety checks on vehicles. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on skills, a diagnostic ability for vehicle repairs, and maintain a clean workspace while providing their own basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license to properly road test vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certified preferred but not required
- Self-motivated
- Hands-on skills in making repairs
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance protocols
- Diagnostic ability whether it be manually or with computerized diagnostic tools
