General Service Technician

Job Summary
General Service Technician needed to perform service and installation activities for store products, including automotive oil changes, oil filter changes, tire installation, rotation and balancing with proper torque, fluid level checks, filter and light replacements; unload and stock tires and merchandise; inspect and dispose of tires; maintain store appearance; deliver fast, courteous customer service; promote sales through product/service benefits and promotions; perform sales duties per policy, including pricing, promotions and vendor check-in; train new employees as needed; operate vehicles safely in service areas; complete required training; adhere to company policies; flexible in responsibilities as assigned; high emphasis on safety and PPE compliance; groundwork for potential career development within MFA Petroleum/MFA Oil group.
Required Qualifications
- 17 years of age (with parental consent) or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States of America
- Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
- Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to exchange accurate information with customers
- Ability to work with hazardous materials
- Ability to work outdoors in weather conditions
- Ability to comply with PPE regulations
- Vision, hearing, and ability to detect odors
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after hours
- Ability to read, write, and understand English

- Ability to obtain Current Motor Vehicle Inspection license within 6 months (Missouri)
