Job Summary
General Service Technician responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotating tires; repairing flats; performing oil changes; replacing filters; conducting courtesy inspections and documenting findings; testing and installing batteries; diagnosing and performing brake jobs (disc/drum, lathe work); handling suspension repairs (struts, shocks, control arms); performing alignments and steering system repairs; replacing under-hood components (water pumps, alternators, radiators); stocking inventory and maintaining shop cleanliness and safety standards; working as a team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service. Requires 1–3 years of professional automotive service experience, hands-on preventative maintenance and light mechanical work, valid driver’s license with clean record, ability to lift 70 lbs, and a flexible weekend schedule. Opportunities for progression into Mechanic, Service Advisor, or Management positions; location Cypress, CA; benefits include hourly rate with commission, overtime, insurance, 401(k) with company match, and ASE reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional automotive service experience (tires, oil, brakes, suspension, alignments)
