Job Summary
Transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle, and pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors or the corporate office. Operate the vehicle safely while conducting state safety and emission inspections, performing tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, rotations, and oil changes at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Observe general vehicle conditions during basic services, point out obvious repairs or safety concerns, and document vehicle status using the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order. Maintain shop cleanliness across the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior. Follow all safety procedures and report concerns immediately. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work Monday through Saturday, and physical stamina for standing eight hours, lifting up to 70 pounds, and working in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work Monday - Saturday
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass an MVR, and criminal background check
- Must be able to stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Must be able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Must have full range of motion with arms and hands
- Must be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Must have vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
