Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive cleaning and sanitation of plant floors, walls, ceilings, and all process equipment, including disassembly and assembly for sanitization. Perform pre-operations checks on product contact surfaces and adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety protocols. Document assigned duties, maintain a safe work area with proper PPE, and report any food quality issues immediately to management. Assist in identifying process improvements and work effectively within a team environment. Shifts run Monday through Thursday from 4 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed. The role offers a springboard path into maintenance and requires a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must pass pre-employment exams including video interviews, personality assessments, and physical exams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Basic computer skills - including but not limited to Microsoft office and Apple products
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment exams: video interview, personality exam, physical exam, mechanical aptitude exam
- Must be able to work flexible hours (any hours, any days) including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work 10+ hour shifts
- Ability to lift 55+ pounds
- Ability to stand, climb, and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in an environment with varying degrees of temperatures and humidity
- Demonstrated excellent teamwork
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others at all levels in the organization

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree and/or Technical School certification
- A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
- 3+ years' experience cleaning/maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated facility as well as training/experience with chemicals and sanitation processes/programs
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
- Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work in a wet environment with exposure to dairy, dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
- Willingness to learn and grow through experience and training
- Experience within the food and beverage industry
