Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a highly capable team to ensure operational objectives are met and sales targets are flawlessly executed. Manage operating processes and expenses to deliver targeted profitability while developing distribution plans, routes, and volume forecasts. Evaluate total market conditions, competitive threats, and local dynamics to coordinate KPI priorities and strategies with cross-functional departments. Collaborate with the RBNA Sales and DP Team to develop programs, share best practices, and build a diverse organization reflecting marketplace standards. Ensure the branch team adheres to company standards and operating procedures. This role requires 8+ years of Direct Store Delivery management experience, key account management at district to national levels, and a proven track record of motivating teams and building strong trade partnerships. The position is based in Sacramento or Stockton, California, with a base salary of $130,000-$140,000 plus cash incentives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives
- Key account management experience on a district, regional and national level
- proven track record of being able to motivate and build a successful sales team
- promote initiatives that build and create strong trade partnerships
- Strong leadership skills to provide mentoring, training or corrective feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to prepare presentation materials
- ability to present the information one-on-one and in a group
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
- Previous P&L experience
- understanding of computer ordering systems
- understanding of other IT systems
- English
