Job Summary
Two leadership opportunities at Performance Auto Group for General Sales Managers to lead high-volume domestic and import sales floors. Responsibilities include leading and motivating the sales team, conducting regular training on prospecting, negotiating, and closing, actively managing the desk to structure deals and close sales, maintaining high CSI scores, overseeing inventory and dealer trades, and collaborating with the F&I department to ensure profitable transactions. Ideal candidates will have proven Automotive General Sales Manager or senior Sales Manager experience, an energetic leadership presence, expertise in desk management and inventory control, and a strong customer-experience focus. Roles are in-person at Cedar Knolls, NJ, with two openings (Domestic and Import stores). Compensation is commission-based with earnings potential of $170,000–$350,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive General Sales Manager or a highly successful Sales Manager ready for the next level.
- Expertise in desk management, deal structuring, and inventory control.
