Job Summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager for the Sudbury, MA area to operationally lead the new and used car departments. Responsibilities include developing and coaching sales consultants, training staff, managing inventory and lot processes, conducting trade appraisals, forecasting and budgeting for the departments, coordinating with third-party vendors and the service department, and closing sales to achieve monthly quotas. The role requires building customer relationships, maintaining a high-volume, professional sales operation, and leveraging vendor relationships and dealership systems to drive department performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior sales consultant and F&I manager experience required
  • 3-5 years automotive experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft suite products and dealer management systems
  • Ability to work in both new and used cars
  • MBA a plus
