Job Summary
Energetic leader with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing new- and used-vehicle sales teams at a large automotive dealer group in the Southeast. Responsible for driving customer satisfaction and achieving department goals through coaching, training, and performance management of sales personnel. Must demonstrate leadership, team development, effective forecasting, cross-department collaboration, and a strong focus on customer service in a high-energy environment. Required Qualifications
- Prior automotive sales and management experience is required
- Track record of success developing new- and used-vehicle sales departments
- Experience training management staff, directing work, and removing barriers to success
- Forecasting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals for the department and for individual sales consultants
- Proven success in hiring, training, motivating, and assessing the performance of all sales personnel
- Ability to develop, motivate and retain top performing sales teams
- Experience collaborating with other departments and building high-performing teams
