Job Summary
General Sales Manager oversees sales process management, staff development, and customer engagement at a large automotive dealership group. Responsibilities include ensuring sales goals are attained by supervising Sales Managers and Sales Representatives, coaching and mentoring staff, conducting daily activity reviews, training via structured programs, maintaining knowledge of vehicle pricing and inventory, and ensuring a professional customer experience. Also responsible for administrative duties such as scheduling, month-end procedures, and participation in store meetings, while fostering effective communication, coaching, and performance standards across the sales team.
