Job Summary
Develops a well-trained sales staff to meet or exceed sales quotas while upholding ethical standards and company policies. Responsible for financial management, including developing annual business plans, budgeting, and monitoring financial goals. Oversees daily operations ensuring compliance with regulations, establishes goals, and communicates strategies effectively. Focus on people development by mentoring team members and managing staffing processes. Participates in community activities to enhance company visibility and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years industry experience in the applicable discipline
- Minimum (2) years of experience managing people or projects
- Budgeting and expense control experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical schooling diploma or Mortuary Science preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in sales management
- Knowledge of the funeral, cemetery, or cremation industry
- Ability to develop training programs for staff
- Experience with community engagement initiatives
