General Production Worker

General Production Worker for Vanderwell’s manufacturing facilities in Mitsue Industrial Park. Responsibilities include starting machines and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed, operating machine centers in the sawmill, planer mill, and/or pellet plant, monitoring conveyors for plug-ups, using an air wand to clear dust from the trim saw area, cleaning photo eyes and scanners, monitoring product quality and reporting issues to the shift supervisor, cleaning and spraying work areas prior to hot work, participating in spark watch, sweeping floors and clearing debris around equipment, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires use of PPE, on-call availability for various shifts (day, night, weekends); exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, weather extremes, and physical hazards; strong teamwork and communication skills preferred.
