Job Summary
Visually examine glassware, pack acceptable ware in cartons, and install required internal packaging. Un-jam and restart automatic inspection equipment, conveying lines, and case packers. Place ware on or off lines as necessary and perform palletizer operations and reselect. Prepare production tally sheets and monitor the line. Stop the line if ware does not conformance to specification. Perform other work as assigned by the Supervisor, including work in other departments as needed. This entry-level position involves rotating swing shifts within a 28-day cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work a swing shift / rotating shift work involves working 7 consecutive days of an 8am-4pm shift followed by 3 days off, then working 7 consecutive days of a 12mid-8am shift followed by 2 days off and then working 7 consecutive days of a 4pm-12mid shift followed by two days off and then starting back on the 8-4 shift. This amounts to working 21 days with 7 days off in a 28-day cycle.
