Job Summary
Picks and packs merchandise, secures labels, and scans orders using RF guns or computers. Stacks packages on pallets, assembles kits, and processes returns by opening packages, verifying customer details, and determining quality ratings. Sorts returned items by client or SKU, inspects merchandise for damage, and returns 1st quality stock to inventory. Manifests orders by checking scales, scanning barcodes, and entering data into systems. Works under supervision of a manager, supervisor, or lead to achieve set rates and maintain a clean work area. Requires standing for 8+ hours and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand label placement on retail shipments
- Ability to read and comprehend all necessary work transactions, including customer return notes if necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors and coworkers
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Detail Oriented
- Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Basic computer skills
- The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, 8 or more hours
- The ability to use hands to pick up objects and operate tools or controls and reach with hands
- The ability to bend or stoop at knees or waist; twist at waist to retrieve item
- The ability to use written source of information to key data into system
- The ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and team lifts parcels weighing more than 30 pounds
- Activities requiring sustained concentration when performing data entry functions
- Specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance
- Arriving at your work station on time at the start of your shift and after rest and meal periods
- Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Monday through Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
