Job Summary
Operate various equipment to produce safe, high-quality egg ingredients while performing sanitation duties. Inspect products and machinery for defects, visually confirm component efficiency, and reassemble equipment after cleaning. Move finished goods to warehousing and maintain records via handheld tablets to meet USDA inspection and quality guidelines. Handle chemical solutions, eggs, and egg products safely while adhering to strict PPE requirements. Work independently in a fast-paced environment, following supervisor assignments and maintaining regular attendance during the 6am to 2:30pm shift.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments as assigned by Supervisors or Management
- Ability to work in a safe manner, as well as participate in the safety process of the company
- Ability to safely handle chemical solutions, eggs and egg products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team members and management
- Ability to visually interpret instructions, operate machines and inspect parts
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
- Ability to reach, stretch, bend and stoop throughout working shift
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to enter confined spaces (port-holes) in tanks to performs cleaning and inspection tasks (if applicable)
- Ability to work in various temperatures (varies from cool to moderate/hot) including occasional high humidity
- 6am - 2:30pm
