Job Summary
Direct and train supervisors on production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, and safety while ensuring all machinery meets the highest standards and passes USDA Inspection. Verify daily production orders for customer fulfillment, oversee morning exercises and job rotation for ergonomics, and manage accurate shipments and inventory rotation. Resolve processing operation problems, review team members for counseling, and communicate company benefits and compensation policies. Perform CCP monitoring verification and maintain records of reworked or returned product.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- prior supervisory experience
- Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections
- Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility
- temperature in most of the areas range from 28 - 45 degrees
- Some travel required as needed
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must reside in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Two years employment at Tyson
- equivalent experience
- Familiarity with processing floor operation
- HACCP certification
- understanding of basic HACCP principals
