Job Summary
Accurately assemble windows according to customer specifications using drawings, blueprints, and various measuring equipment. Operate hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, and hammers while ensuring quality on all assembled materials. Package and prepare finished windows for shipping, and support cross-training in other production areas as needed. Maintain strong attention to detail and effective communication within the team. Must be willing to become forklift certified within the first 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Ability to use a tape measure and various hand tools
- Ability to adapt
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be willing to become forklift certified within the first 30 days of employment
- Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs
- Ability to lift 10lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to lift 10-25lbs on a frequent basis
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to stand for 10 hours per day
- Must be able to work overhead on a frequent basis
- Must be able to work shoulder level on a seldom to frequent basis
- Must be able to have a complete range of movement of the arms and wrist
- Hand dexterity and hand grip
- Ability to complete repetitive functions on a rotational basis
