Job Summary
General Production 1st shift at Greenheck Group. Operate equipment to support daily/monthly production goals, follow safety guidelines, wear PPE, learn SAP/MII/MES processes, perform material movements, use SOPs, cross-train within department, help train new production team members, contribute to safety and lean initiatives, maintain 5S standards, and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery and PPE requirements. Starting pay at $20.81/hour with increases to $23.66/hour; requires HS diploma or GED preferred, 18+ years old, and pre-employment screening. Travel minimums noted; equal opportunity employer. Location: Knoxville, TN, USA.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 6-12 months prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Ability to read measuring devices
- Ability to use basic, pneumatic, and power tools
- Ability to safely operate equipment (may include material movement equipment such as overhead lifting devices, forklifts)
- Ability to learn SAP/ MII / MES Processes
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, if offered employment
- Cross-train within department
- Support daily and monthly production goals and targets
- Contribute to safety and process improvement initiatives
