Job Summary
General Practitioner / Family Physician needed for a well-established community-based clinic in Okotoks, Alberta. Flexible start with full-time or part-time options. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive family medicine care in a high-volume setting, maintaining continuity of care, collaborating with an experienced nursing team, and leveraging an EMR system in a modern clinic. Must hold CPSA licensure (or eligible) with CFPC certification or eligible via international pathway. Relocation/immigration support available for international candidates. Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care are essential; interest in semi-urban or rural healthcare is a plus. Competitive fee-for-service billing, onboarding mentorship, and relocation assistance are offered to new arrivals.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree and valid or eligible licence to practise in Alberta
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or eligibility via international pathway (MRCGP, MICGP, RACGP, etc.)
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Team-focused and patient-centred approach
- Interest in semi-urban or rural healthcare is a plus
