Job Summary
Provide preventive, medical, and routine surgical care for companion animals, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostic evaluations, dental treatments, and treatment plans for various medical conditions. Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care plans and collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation. This role focuses on building long-term client relationships and practicing preventive medicine within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
- Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in District of Columbia
