Job Summary
General Practice Physician Locum providing comprehensive primary care to psychiatric patients in an on-site North Carolina facility. Responsibilities include conducting health physicals, daily patient check-ins, prescription management, and maintaining patient notes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, BH APPs, RNs, MAs, and other medical staff. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a patient caseload of 9-20. Call requirements are negotiable. Prescriptive authority is required; board certification is negotiable. Location: Raleigh, NC. This is a locum-tenens assignment in an outpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
