Job Summary
Lead veterinary medical operations and oversee clinical direction for a dedicated team of doctors and medical staff. Manage daily patient and client care while collaborating closely with the practice manager to ensure superior service. Provide leadership and mentorship to all veterinary personnel, navigating difficult cases with empathy and adhering to veterinary medical ethics. Maintain active state licensure and DEA compliance while driving professional development and clinical excellence for the community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university
- Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure
- Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain
- A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics
- Proven leadership experience, typically overseeing medical operations
