Job Summary
Oversee medical operations and clinical direction for a veterinary hospital, managing a team of doctors and medical staff while ensuring superior patient and client care. Provide leadership and mentorship to veterinary personnel, collaborate with the practice manager, and navigate difficult cases with sensitivity. Maintain an active state license, DEA license, and commitment to veterinary ethics within a customized compensation package that includes sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, and professional development allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university
- Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure
- Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain
- A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics
- Proven leadership experience, typically overseeing medical operations
