Job Summary
Production Supervisor on the manufacturing floor at CGS Health Benefits start after week 1. Direct and coordinate manufacturing workflows, monitor safety and quality, lead, mentor, and coach production team members, resolve personnel issues, and identify cost-effective improvements. Interfaces with all departments at the Upper Sandusky, OH location; requires servant-leadership traits, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to extend hours when needed. Focus areas include safety/6S adherence, production rate targets, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer specifications and continuous improvement goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years manufacturing management experience
- Formal certifications in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Accelerated Root Cause or Transactional Lean
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to proactively execute multiple projects while meeting deadlines
