Job Summary
Own and lead capital formation for the buyout strategy, anchoring first-time buyout managers and operator-led vehicles in the European market. Represent the strategy externally at the senior level to articulate a differentiated narrative around succession-driven buyouts and early liquidity pathways. Work closely with founding partners to integrate buyout investing with the broader Allocator One platform, contributing to investment judgment and governance without handling deal execution or portfolio operations. This long-term mandate builds a durable European franchise rather than optimizing a single fundraise. The role sits alongside existing venture capital, FoFs, and allocator businesses, leveraging centralized capabilities in sourcing, diligence, and reporting to support smaller, succession-driven transactions at an institutional standard.
Required Qualifications
- Senior buyout leadership
- Extensive experience as a GP/Partner or Managing Director in mid‐market or upper‐mid‐market buyout funds
- Demonstrable track record of successful investments
- Established standing in the European private equity ecosystem
- Proven in capital formation
- Materially led or anchored fundraises
- Maintained long-standing relationships with institutional LPs and leading family offices
- Independent standing
- Trusted by sophisticated capital, founders, or operators on a personal basis
- Credibility and gravitas
- Ability to command respect and engage as a peer with leading allocators
- Skilled at narrative building and negotiation
- Experience profile and base in Europe
