Responsibilities include managing multiple trauma cases, inpatient and outpatient clinics, call coverage, and coordination with a team of physicians and NPs. Procedures span all orthopedic surgery, with 9-4 clinic days and rotating surgical dates; call 7+ days per month. Requires residency completion and fellowship in Colorectal Surgery (ACGME), BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery, MD/DO license, and DEA certificate. Pay range $501,000-$758,596 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery, in ACGME approved programs
- Current BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery (American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery)
- Valid state medical license as MD or DO
- Valid DEA certificate
