General Operator

Operates and sets up slide forming machines and punch presses to automatically punch, cut, and form metal stampings. Reads blueprints and Operator Instruction Sheets to monitor product quality, records dimensional checks, and enters data into the SPC system. Performs setup-related tasks, assists with tooling changes, and collaborates with die maintenance to resolve tooling issues. Utilizes Plex ERP for production control and handles administrative duties related to production data. Troubleshoots issues to improve efficiencies and supports corrective actions (8-D) with a focus on reducing scrap and maintaining safety. Requires mechanical aptitude, safety-first mindset, strong analytical skills, and teamwork; proficient with Microsoft Office and Plex ERP; preferred knowledge of SPC software and basic measurement with calipers, micrometers, or similar gauges.
