Job Summary
Inpatient General/Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician Assistant position at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL, with two full-time PAs; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to assess, diagnose, and manage cardiovascular conditions. Schedule: average 40 patient-facing hours per week inpatient. APPs will enhance inpatient access and continuity of care across the continuum of care. Includes opportunities for involvement in a fully-equipped diagnostic center (nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound) and collaboration within the Rush University System for Health. Requires IL PA licensure/certification, completion of an accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, CPR and ACLS; Acute Care Certification if inpatient work; relocation allowances available.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain licensure
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CPR and ACLS certifications
- PA candidates will require Acute Care Certification if doing Inpatient work
