Job Summary
General (Non-Interventional) Cardiologist sought to serve a broad patient base in Ventura County and surrounding communities. The role includes responsibilities across broad cardiology care with subspecialists in interventional and structural cardiology, vascular disease, and electrophysiology, oversight of echocardiography and nuclear imaging, and participation in EP and advanced structural imaging (TAVR, Mitralclip, PFO closure, WATCHMAN). The practice operates two clinics (Ventura and Oxnard) with hospital call and procedures at a second hospital and ambulatory surgical center; opportunities for research and potential partnership after ~30 months.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board certified or eligible
- Medical License: California license or eligibility
- General cardiology expertise
- Ability to conduct cardioversions, TEEs, stress echo oversight, and reading nuclear studies
- Experience with ICAEL accredited Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs with PET and Cardiac CT programs
- Participation in EP and advanced structural program imaging for TAVR, Mitralclip, Triclip, PFO closure, WATCHMAN
- Research interest beneficial; clinical trials involvement
