Job Summary
General (non-interventional) Cardiologist sought to serve a broad patient base in Ventura County and surrounding communities. Cardiologist will work with Cardiology Associates’ subspecialists in Interventional and Structural Cardiology, Vascular Disease, and Electrophysiology; responsibilities include performing cardioversions, TEEs, stress-echo oversight, and interpretation of nuclear studies, with ICAEL-accredited Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs, PET, and Cardiac CT programs. The practice offers a full EP and advanced structural program including imaging for TAVR, Mitralclip, PFO closure, and WATCHMAN, and supports resident training with involvement in clinical trials. Salary is competitive with a guaranteed period and bonus potential; benefits include medical/dental/vision, malpractice coverage, retirement options, and potential partnership after 30 months. Board-certified or eligible physicians with California license or eligibility are eligible. Clinics are in Ventura and Oxnard, CA, with hospital affiliation and call responsibilities; partnership prospect implies long-term growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board certified or eligible
- Medical License: California license or eligibility
- Affiliation with hospital and ability to perform procedures at second hospital and ambulatory surgical center
- ICAEL accredited Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs with PET and Cardiac CT programs
- Experience with cardioversions, TEEs, stress echo oversight, and reading nuclear studies
- Involvement in epic EP and advanced structural program imaging (TAVR, Mitralclip, PFO closure, WATCHMAN)
