Job Summary
General (Non-Interventional) Cardiologist sought to serve a broad range of patients from Ventura County and surrounding communities. The role involves performing and overseeing cardiology services with subspecialists in Interventional and Structural Cardiology, Vascular Disease, and Electrophysiology; procedures/imaging include cardioversions, TEEs, stress echo oversight, reading nuclear studies, and advanced imaging with PET and Cardiac CT. The practice supports ICAEL-accredited Echocardiography and Nuclear Labs and has an active EP and structural program including imaging for TAVR, Mitralclip, Triclip, PFO closure, and WATCHMAN. Responsibilities may involve hospital call coverage (ER call approximately every 12 days with some weekends), ongoing clinical duties across two clinics (Ventura and Oxnard), teaching of residents, and participation in clinical trials. Residency training is supported, and there is potential for partnership after a period. Board-certified or eligible physicians with California licensure are sought, with experience in comprehensive cardiology care and cardiac imaging noted among duties.
