Job Summary
General Neurologists are sought to join Northwell Health System across PBMC (Riverhead) and Mather Hospital (Port Jefferson) in a flexible, primarily full-time role combining inpatient and ambulatory duties with neuro-hospitalist opportunities. The department emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, access to academic resources, grand rounds, conferences, and opportunities to discuss and share cases with subspecialists within a large health system. The position offers an academic appointment with the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine and a competitive compensation package including incentive compensation, paid malpractice insurance, retirement contributions, CME allowance, and other benefits. Northwell Health is a large system with extensive stroke programs and designated centers; physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Health Physician Partners.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE General Neurologist
- MD or DO degree (implicit medical credential)
