Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles while discussing repairs with shop foremen or service advisors. Plan work in cooperation with the shop foreman, provide labor estimates, and monitor repair times to update the service advisor. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation, complete documentation for client repairs, and assist in mentoring technician trainees. Keep current with factory technical bulletins and attend company and factory training. Follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal. Requires a high school diploma or GED, driver's license, and state inspection license. Compensation is based on experience commensurate with Fortune 500 companies, including paid vacation, 401(k), healthcare, and employee discounts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- Operator Driver's License
- State Inspection License
