Job Summary
General Monitor supports supervision of students under the Building Principal, applying behavior techniques to enforce school discipline, performing clerical tasks, and working outdoors in various weather. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, good interpersonal skills, and fitness for outdoor work; fingerprinting per state law is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must like and get along with children, (i.e.. possess good parenting skills)
- Ability to apply behavior techniques in enforcing school discipline in an appropriate context
- Perform some clerical functions
- Good physical health and the ability to work outdoors during inclement weather
