Job Summary
Conduct daily department operations by managing sales floor replenishment, pricing, signing, and merchandising to ensure product availability and accuracy. Lead a team of hourly members through daily task assignment, performance coaching, and skill development while holding them accountable for guest experience commitments and operational standards. Execute inbound and outbound fulfillment responsibilities, including pick, pack, and ship processes, alongside managing inventory levels and backroom organization. Monitor guest, financial, and team metrics to identify process gaps and drive improvements that support store sales goals and business priorities. Maintain a safe, compliant workplace by enforcing safety procedures, reporting hazards, and ensuring adherence to adult beverage laws and other regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Lead and hold others accountable
- Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
