Job Summary
Area Leader responsible for engaging team members, driving coaching and feedback, performance management, and development across the span of care; directs Leads and Team Leaders, accountable for area operations and financials including staffing, scheduling, safety, and customer conflict resolution; leads process improvements, ensures adherence to Meijer culture, and focuses on onboarding/training, talent development, and succession planning while contributing to budgetary results and store productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience
- Progressive leadership experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction
- Ability to analyze financial and statistical information and make informed decisions
