Job Summary
Oversee overall team member engagement, driving recognition, feedback, coaching, performance management, training, and succession planning for your span of care. Direct Leads and Team Leaders by assigning daily work assignments, ensuring they provide guidance on training needs, and maintaining Meijer standards through candid discussions. Manage area operations and financials by overseeing corporate plan execution to maximize sales and productivity, owning budget line items in the P&L, and driving safety, compliance, and condition management. Identify talent for a diversified leadership pipeline and implement process improvements while stewarding the company culture. Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years in retail/grocery leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times
