Job Summary
GM Department Manager leads the General Merchandise department, sets customer service standards, oversees employee relations, cleanliness, and profitability; responsibilities include recruiting/training staff, determining weekly schedules, managing signage and displays, pricing accuracy, inventory, promotions, and interaction with suppliers/vendors to ensure quality products and customer satisfaction. The role requires the ability to supervise department employees, troubleshoot problems, perform basic arithmetic, and uphold company guidelines in a fast-paced retail environment. Location: Des Moines, IA. Employment is contingent upon a pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
