Job Summary
Provide patient-centered nursing care to adults with general medical needs in an acute care setting. Administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, manage IVs, document in the EHR, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Role emphasizes evidence-based care, education for patients and families, bedside shift reports, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. BSN preferred; ACLS preferred or to be obtained after hire. Requires strong clinical judgment, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in general medical, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing
