Job Summary
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Collaborates with interprofessional team to develop, implement and document individualized care plans for oncology and medical-surgical patients on a 29-bed unit. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; promotes patient- and family-centered care; participates in safety, quality and regulatory activities; supports the BJC RN Career Ladder and ongoing professional development. Role is full-time, night shift, on Magnet-recognized Memorial Belleville; BSN degree preferred and RN licensure required. Includes BSN differential and shift differential; eligibility for sign-on bonus up to $15,000; comprehensive benefits and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- RN License
- BSN preferred (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Memorial Belleville unit oncology/medical-surgical experience preferred
- Med/Surg experience preferred
- 2 Center unit with oncology/medical-surgical patient care
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing required or equivalent
- RN certification or licensure as required by state
