Job Summary
Maintain and repair industrial equipment to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety and quality standards. Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes of failures, and implement effective solutions to restore functionality quickly. Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs across automotive, boiler systems, general machinery, fabrication, plumbing, refrigeration, and warehousing functions. Qualify as a journey-level Mechanic – Class B (MIV) and communicate effectively with Head and Lead Mechanics. Lead, mentor, and supervise Mechanics within a department or maintenance function by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality of work. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and verify compliance with applicable standards.
Required Qualifications
- Qualify as a journey-level Mechanic – Class B (MIV)
- Communicate effectively
- Work closely with Head and/or Lead Mechanics and other maintenance professionals
- Align maintenance and repair efforts with production goals or facility-specific needs
- Perform and oversee routine preventive maintenance
- Perform and oversee routine inspections
- Perform and oversee routine repairs
- Diagnose mechanical issues

- Implement effective solutions to restore functionality quickly and efficiently
